Presidental (State)/Unit Colours the Guyana Defence Force.

Postby Tyskaorden2 » 08 Jun 2014 19:03

From Wikimedia Commons the Presidental and Unit Colours of the Guyana Defence Force, which after independence replaced the British Guiana Volunteer Force. The British Influence with a Sovereign's (here President's/State) and Unit/Regimental Colour are evident. The Influence also extends to the fact that the Presidental/State Colour are based on the National Flag.

The Unit Colour is different from British Regimental Colours in the way that the Field is not just in one colour.
