Thanks for the correction and the pictures. I looked up my source the Book Svenska försvarsmaktens fälttecken efter millennieskiftet/The Flags and Standards of the Swedish Armed Forces after the turn of the Millennium by Christian Braunstein and the Swedish text states that the Colour was indeed presented in 1998 but the English parallell text has the year to be 1997!

A recent addition to the Swedish Military Flag the colour of the Ground Combat School. It is based on the Arms of the School, with the difference that the field is per saltire. The Arms have a solid Black field, but this was deemed to give associations to the Nazi SS. Why I don't understand, but that's was the reason for the partition of the field on the colour, given to me incorrespondance with the Swedish State Herald. The Arms however still remains the same. Picture from http://www.riksarkivet.se/default.aspx?id=28321&refid=1264

A note this Colour is still in the process of beeing manufactured, and has not been presented yet.

Also from the Riksarkivet.se site, the Command flag of the Special Forces Command. The Star is taken from the Arms of the Special Forces.

Well some kind of Colours they would certainly have been presented with. Unfortunately I don't know how this would look like. Jeger perhaps you could try and contact Armémuseum in Stockholm.
