I like it. Whatever this two flag was choiced, Tristan da Cunha would have a nice insignia.

This thread is a little abandoned. For restarting the discussion, I specially came with a proposal to Bermuda. See current Bermuda ensign:

Transforming the dramatic scene (a wrecking ship) in current coat of arms into a triangle, in reference to famous "Bermuda Triangle", should be the right thing to do. I put the lion's head (reference to English heritage) because current attitude remembers me Leviathan. Compare:
